About this project

As of late, I've been losing a lot of passion for designing characters. Before, I really found exploring novel character concepts and trying out new styles was something that made designing characters interesting. However, I slowly started to lose this passion, getting burnt out becasue I wanted to follow trends to make really profitable adopts and raffles, plus feeling that I've ben stuck at a stage where my designing skills stay stagnant. I feel that designing adopts and characters should be an exploration of creativity. I think I lost sight of this perspective in the past year, but I hope that through this project, I can grow as a designer by constantly designing and regain an appreciation of creativity through design.

Also, as I grow older, I notice that art should be used as a medium to create or advocate for global issues and positive change. I feel that evidently, it is hard to do this with character designs, but I feel that I should be doing something more with my art. Thus, I'll be creating several "charity" character designs through this project that can be sold to help raise funds for certain issues. With these funds, I'm planning on donating to charities that I want to help support, such as the Trevor Project, Gaza Emergency Fund, and other such charities!

Furthermore, as a designer with a lot of standing, I want to try something innovative with my designs. I'm pretty sure that something like this has been achieved before, but I haven't heard of it being done in a adoptable-based context! I want to create something cool with my skills, not just designing characters but exploring the concept of design itself! :D
